MS Information Technology
As the Department Chair, Mr. Ablazo provides academic leadership and strategic direction for the Information Technology program. He specializes in Information Technology (IT), with research interests often involving the application of technology and data, such as leveraging social media data for information dissemination during crises or applying predictive analytics in education. He guides students in mastering the core areas of IT and ensures the curriculum remains relevant to industry demands.

REV. FR. CARLOS G. CENZON, JR., S.J.
PhD Instructional Technology
Fr. Cenzon, a Jesuit priest, holds a doctorate in Instructional Technology. His expertise lies in integrating technology into the learning and teaching process, focusing on how digital tools, platforms, and methods can enhance educational outcomes and student engagement. He is a key figure in shaping the university’s digital learning strategy and preparing future educators and professionals to effectively use technology in instructional settings.

CHRISTOPHER ARIS O. ALVIOLA

PATRICK ANGELO PAASA
MS Information Technology, Director, ARISEn Laboratory
Mr. Paasa holds an MS in Information Technology and serves as the Director of the ARISEn Laboratory (Ateneo de Davao Research in Information Systems and Software Engineering). This leadership role highlights his deep specialization in applied system development and software engineering. He actively guides students in practical, real-world research and development projects. His expertise covers areas like web development, software testing, and deploying solutions, ensuring students gain the hands-on skills needed to build and manage functional, reliable information systems.
